Sited at the end of a garden in Redbridge, the building provides a gym and yoga studio to help mothers to (re)gain fitness after giving birth, with bathroom and outdoor terrace. Aromatic timber finishes are proposed internally and externally, with natural insulation providing a high-performance thermal envelope.
Designed to avoid wet trades internally the timber cabin is to be fully demountable. Low-wattage electrical equipment has been selected throughout, powered by an Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP).
