Accredited Passivhaus Designers, our services include extensions, refurbishments, new builds and self-builds as well as strategic masterplans.
We are chartered by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and offer a full architectural service, from initial ideas to detailed design and contract administration during construction.

We work hard to develop solutions that offer lasting value long after construction is complete and we seek to introduce the low-waste principles of a Circular Economy wherever this is viable.
We also undertake research, working with Higher Education institutions to explore how architecture can address the challenges of the Climate Catastrophe.

We promote architecture as adaptation: adjust what we have, to better provide what we need. Our projects offer ambitious and environmentally sensitive solutions that explore new material opportunity and encourage a stronger relationship with the context of a place.
Our agile and tactical approach to masterplans, working on complex sites and engaging with multiple stakeholders, has unlocked significant residential and educational opportunities and raised over £100k for community projects
We prepare and present strategic advice that will support viability appraisals, fundraising, grant applications and business plans for our clients.
We design buildings, spaces and experiences that nourish and enrich, supporting the infrastructure of the everyday while strengthening connection to nature wherever possible.

Our resource-efficient approach has successfully delivered high-quality solutions at sites including Green Belt areas, AONBs, conservation areas, and for locally listed and listed buildings.

Our Approach: Learning From Location
Working with you and consultant teams of varying sizes, our proposals are enriched by a studied interpretation of the needs of a place – an approach that planning authorities universally support, regardless of location.
We investigate, research and explore the history, character and policy context of each site and absorb these findings into high-quality design proposals.
I’m pleased to report that the committee were in unanimous agreement that the proposals are an imaginative and sensitive response to the garden setting, and expressed their support

Our Approach: Low-Carbon Design
Addressing the climate emergency, we believe that all projects should capitalise on the benefits of green development: reducing waste, lowering energy demand and limiting CO2 both in construction and in use.
Applied properly, green development principles are economically beneficial to clients as well as being good for the environment. As such we endeavour to provide appropriately sustainable solutions at every stage of the design process.
Our projects have saved over 10,000 tonnes of CO2 to date… With more to come!
We have developed an embodied carbon calculator with Canterbury School of Architecture, which will empower designers to make low-carbon design decisions at each stage of the design process.

We design elegant, healthy and environmentally-conscious homes for our clients, each bespoke to the specific needs of the family or individual we serve. These homes can be fully certified to the Passivhaus standard, or EnerPHit if the works involve alterations to an existing building.

Working with innovative SEND school provider The Aurora Group, we design specialist learning environments for young people with a wide range of needs. The new-build schools we design are net-zero carbon and Passivhaus where practicable.
